GCP382
Close-up
GCP382
is a portable PXI/cPCI chassis designed specifically for applications
that can be deployed in places without the assurance of a
reliable power source. GCP382 is developed based on GMII Platform
System. It incorporates all the necessary peripherals and
can be easily packed, carried and used anywhere. Its rugged
construction is designed for mobile applications on a cart,
under an air wing, in a truck, or on a battleship.
Inside
Story
GCP382 portable chassis is designed to be powered from AC,
DC or batteries with glitch less switching. The Uninterruptible
Power Supply (UPS) feature allows the system to run smoothly
even if the power is off, making it a great choice for critical
applications or remote sensing applications. The battery module
used in GCP382
offers close to 100 Watt-hours of energy and can tolerate
two times the rated discharge current without adverse effects.
Ability to incorporate high power PXI cards broadens the applications
GCP382
can address.
GCP382
has 8 slots for a controller and plug in cards on the left,
and power supply modules and optional battery modules on the
right. Quick plug/unplug of cards and modules and the support
for hot swapping reduces mean time to repair to within minutes.
GCP382
also incorporates a foldout keyboard, and a large 15"
touch screen LCD display.
GCP382
is a powerful and versatile portable chassis that allows the
system used in development be simply unplugged and deployed
to the field directly, with no change in functionality or
capability.
